Welcome to the Online Learning Practice Course!

This course is designed to give students an idea of the online learning environment and practice on how to use WebCT, the tool used to deliver online courses. Within this course you will find brief descriptions of the tools used while learning online. Also, you will find practice quizzes pertaining to WebCT.

This is the course "Welcome Page" which is open to the public. Our course's "Welcome Pages" usually contain a brief introduction to the course, textbook information, and prerequisite information. The "Welcome Page" will also contain the instructor's picture, name, and contact information. You can also find the course login button at the bottom of the page, which allows registered course participants to access the course. Registered students can also login through our website http://online.fiu.edu/.

It is highly recommended that students who have never taken a fully online or hybrid course attend one of our orientations.  In addition to providing you with useful tips and techniques to ensure your success, the orientation will cover the fundamentals of learning online and how to get started.

Please note that we offer our Online Learning Tutorial via the web and/or CD-ROM. If you are unable to attend one of our on-campus orientations or just need help with an online tool click here.

If you are on a slow connection, we recommend that you order the CD-ROM. The CD-ROM will be delivered to you free of charge in 3 - 5 business days.
